Dynamic gene expression atlas of goose granulosa cells during development stage

the nine developmental stage, including small white follicles (SWF), large white follicles (LWF), small yellow follicles (SYF), large yellow follicles (LYF), the fifth largest follicle (F5), fourth largest follicle (F4), third largest follicle (F3), second largest follicle (F2) and the largest follicle (F1), respectively. Overall design: According to the data of reproduction performance, ten high-yield female geese under egg-laying peak period (45 week) were selected as experimental animals, and then those geese were slaughtered before egg-laying 2 hours to gain the nine developmental stages of ovarian follicle. We randomly selected complete nine follicles tissue samples of five individuals of them to perform hematoxylin-eosin (HE) for histological staining. According to diameter, those follicles were separate into the SWF (2-4mm), LWF (4-6mm), SYF (6-8mm), LYF (8-10mm), fifth largest follicle (F5), fourth largest follicle (F4), third largest follicle (F3), second largest follicle (F2) and the largest follicle (F1), respectively.
