Radio-echo sounding (RES) ice thickness data: SPCM's 1971-74

A Lambert Glacier - Amery Ice Shelf - Southern Prince Charles Mountains (SPCM) series of airborne (Pilatus Porter fixed wing) RES profiles were conducted over three summer seasons; 1971/72, 1972/73 and 1973/74. The ANARE Mk 2 100 MHz digital ice radar recorded ice thicknesses continuously along extensive flight paths operating out of a summer base camp at Mt. Cresswell (72.75 S, 64.42 E).
