LAND COVER - CLASSIFICATION and Other Data from FIXED PLATFORM From Coastal Waters of Gulf of Mexico from 1988-01-01 to 1989-12-31 (NCEI Accession 9100034)

Wetland Assessment Data was collected from Coastal waters of Gulf of Mexico by Louisiana State and the Louisiana Geological Service under MMS Cooperative Agreement No.14-12-0001-30410-Mitigation of Wetland Impacts due to OCS Oil and Gas Activities. Data include suspended solids, soils, currents, temperature, salinity, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, secchi depth, sedimentation, chlorinity, tides, biology, invertebrates, marshes, leaf and stem biomass and chemistry, and heavy metals. Data was collected between January 1, 1988 and December 31, 1989. Data was submitted on tape containing files AO1373 and 18770 that have been copied onto the current NODC storage media.
