Transcriptome analysis of poplar fibers and rays from tension, opposite, and normal wood induced by stem inclination

This study compares the transcriptomes of fibers and rays from tension, opposite, and normal wood in poplar (Populus tremula x P. alba, clone INRA 717-1B4). Tension and opposite wood were induced by stem inclination, and fibers and rays were isolated by laser microdissection from transverse stem sections.
