Phlyctema vagabunda (syn. Neofabraea alba and N. vagabunda), Neofabraea kienholzii, N.malicorticis, and N. perennans are among the most important pathogens of apple (Malusdomestica) worldwide. The objective of this work was to explore the most suitable sequencingstrategy to obtain, for the first time, whole genome sequences of a representative isolate of each of the four main pathogenic species of Neofabraea.
