gEICko Preliminary Phase-A Image Dataset: Laboratory-Generated Mockup Images

This image datasets are created in the scope of the EIC funded Gecko-based Innovative Capture Kit for Uncooperative and Unprepared Orbital Assets (gEICko) project. It contains images of the NanoFF Satellite, that are generated in a laboratory using a self-made mockup from 3D-printed parts. The Laboratory (currently under development) shall visually represent the space environment for generating realistic images for AI training. It is a preliminary dataset and are rather used as proof of concept. Later versions shall be used to train AI agents for vision-based navigation (VBN) within the scope of the gEICko project.
