Injuries - Transfermarkt.com

Injuries represent a critical aspect of the welfare and performance of players in football.To collect injury data, we used web scraping techniques to gather information on player injuries throughout their careers, directly from the Transfermarkt.com website (e.g., https://www.transfermarkt.com/lionel-messi/verletzungen/spieler/28003).<br>This dataset contains a total of +107,000 injuries accross +18,500 players from Transfermarkt.comThe injuries dataset contains the following fields:<b>Season </b>: The season during which the injury occurred.<b>Injury </b>: The type of injury the player suffered.<b>from </b>: The start date of the injury.<b>until </b>: The end date of the injury.<b>Days </b>: The number of days the player suffered from the injury.<b>Games </b><b>missed </b>: The number of games missed due to injury.<b>player</b>_<b>name </b>: The name of the player affected by the injury.<b>p</b><b>layer_</b><b>id </b>: The identifier of the player affected by the injury, which corresponds to the Transfermarkt player identifier.<b>url_injuries :</b> The url of the player's injury record.Here are the sources of the differents datasets:Transfermarkt (Open Data)Transfermarkt.com<br>The scientific article explaining the data set will be available soon
