Aerial-photo and LiDAR iceberg surveys during the 2015 Joint Statoil/ArcticNet Cruise, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

This dataset contains repetitive aerial-photo and LiDAR surveys of iceberg sails. The intention behind collecting and providing this data to others is to assess and further develop techniques for the observation of iceberg and ice island deterioration. In the future, these techniques can be applied to the improvement of predictive iceberg drift and deterioration models. The data can also be used for drift analysis and modeling efforts.
