The influence of different forest management forms on the visual perceived attractiveness of forests for recreational use

The data results from a forest visitor survey that was conducted in June 2022 in the Waldlabor on Hönggerberg in Zurich. This questionnaire’s aim was to investigate how visitors perceived the different local forest management forms and to gain insights into the influence of visitors’ forest preferences, reasons for the visit and performed activities. The visual perceived forest attractiveness was collected based on six different survey locations featuring different forest management forms respectively different stages.
