Drinking water extraction areas (Environmental Vision 2016-2020)

This stock contains drinking water extraction areas as established in the Environmental Vision of Groningen 2016-2020. In water extraction areas only activities are permitted, which are directly or indirectly related to drinking water production. Activities which may be harmful to groundwater extraction are prohibited here, such as the use of manure and pesticides, the deep digging or drilling and the discharge of harmful substances into or into the soil.
