18S V9 sequencing of protist communities across Lombok, Indonesia

These samples are 18S V9 sequence data from water and sediment collected in coastal areas around Lombok, Indonesia. These data allowed us to characterize protist communities in the region at a greater depth than previous, visual-based surveys were able to. Data were used to investigate biotic and abiotic drivers of biogeographic structure on a local scale using underwater visual census data and site metadata.
