Expression data from RAW 264.7 cells treated with control or Mist-targeted GapmeR

Mist is a novel lncRNA found to be downregulated in macrophages of mice with diet-induced obesity compared to control diet. The regulatory mechanisms of mouse Mist are unknown. We induced Mist knockdown in mouse macrophage cell line RAW 264.7 and used microarray to detail Mist-mediated global gene expression changes and identify distinct classes of up- and down-regulated genes. RAW cells were transfected with antisense locked nucleic acid-modified GapmeRs (Exiqon) targeting Mist or a non-targeting control (50nM) using Lipofectamine RNAiMAX (Invitrogen) and RNA was collected 48h post-transfection.
