The stations for the qualitative-quantitative determination of phytoplankton are located on 7 transepts perpendicular to the coast (Lido di Volano, P. Garibaldi, Casalborsetti, Lido Adriano, Cesenatico, Rimini and Cattolica) and distant 0.5 and 3 km from the shoreline.
