Biomass – Forestry Waste 2019

This map provides an insight into the amount of waste from forestry in kton/year that is released as waste stream from companies in South Holland at municipal level. This is plant waste from forestry and sometimes also a part of agriculture and horticulture. When companies produce residual flows, these companies are obliged to maintain the quality and the quantity to be reported to the National Waste Reporting Point (LMA). ‘Forestry waste’ means a residual steam of the food and tobacco industry, also known as a VGI residual stream.
