Drosophila melanogater adult males (Oregon-R strain) were primed with low virulent bacteria (Micrococcus luteus or Salmonella typhimurium) or control saline. Six days after priming, flies are challenged with pathogen infection (Staphylococcus aureus or Pseudomonas aeruginosa) or control saline. Four hours after challenging, flies were frozen and stored. Total RNAs were extracted from whole body of flies. RNA expression was compared between priming conditions and between challenging condition.
