Effects of phosphate and nitrogen fertilizers on maize rhizosphere microbial communities cultivated in contrasting soil textures

Phosphorus, a crucial nutrient for plant growth, often binds strongly to soil particles in humid tropical conditions, limiting its availability to plants. To address this challenge and reduce dependency on imported phosphate fertilizers, researchers are exploring alternative sources of phosphorus. Here, we evaluated the effect of various nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers sources on the rhizosphere of maize cultivated in different textures.
