This 19th century slate inscription serves as a translation for the Cunaide Stone – a 5th Century Christian Burial stone which has inscribed Latin. It is the oldest Christian burial stone known in Cornwall, and was discovered in 1843 by workers who excavated it while landscaping the grounds to create an ornamental public park. The slate slab was placed next to where the burial stone was repositioned on one of the banks of the King George VI Memorial Plantation (the same site as the Carnsew hillfort), where it remained until the 15th December 2018, when the stone was removed after increasing it's risk of damage from torrential rain damaging the bank. The Cunaide Memorial Slate was registered in 1988 as a Grade II Listed Monument by Historic England Latitude,Longtitude: 50.18351220796574,-5.423548280782451 Altitude: 13m Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
