Densecall is a basecalling component of DEMINERS, a comprehensive machine learning framework designed to enhance the capabilities of multiplexed nanopore RNA sequencing. Utilizing an optimized Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture, Densecall exceeds the performance of traditional Direct RNA Sequencing (DRS) base callers. It offers specialized training paths for species-specific models, which enhance accuracy by 2.6% compared to general models, making it particularly effective for complex biological datasets.
