AGEs induce MMP-9 promoter demethylation to promote breast cancer metastasis in patients with diabetes

To evaluate the involvement of transcriptional mechanisms of AGEs in breast cancer cells, we treated MDA-MB-231 cells with AGEs or BSA (as a control group) and performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of the two groups. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for AGEs-treated or BSA-treated (as a control group) breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cell (n=3 per group).
