Sidewalks

This layer contains polylines depicting all theoretical sidewalk locations within the Bristol Metropolitan Planning Area, broken down by several key attributes. These attributes reflect whether such infrastructure is already constructed (SW_STATUS), the applicable jurisdiction (JURISDICT), and various other fields identifying whether the segment of sidewalk is eligible for specific funding opportunities, including: TDOT's Multimodal Access Grant Program (MMAG) Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) This layer is also meant to provide a region-level view of the pedestrian infrastructure network. To do so, this layer must be viewed in coordination with two other layers: Ramps Crossings For full active transportation planning, these layers should also be viewed with the region's trail/path network and the various layers for the region's transit networks.
