This dataset provides data references for enterprises, public institutions and individuals engaged in the production and R&D of injection molding machines when selecting patent agencies, based on the patent authorization rate and patent agency service retention rate of various agencies serving injection molding machine-related patents, to facilitate screening of higher-quality patent agencies. 1. Data Collection: Relevant patent information of enterprises, public institutions and individuals applying for patents in the injection molding machine field is collected via third-party intellectual property retrieval websites, using criteria including region, IPC classification number of patents, patent title, and patent agency. 2. Data Processing: The collected raw data is processed by removing duplicate and incomplete records, followed by data cleaning and classification. 3. Data Calculation: Based on the processed data, the total number of injection molding machine-related patents served by each agency in the target region, the number of closed patent cases (i.e., patents no longer under examination), and the number of granted patents are calculated. Subsequently, the patent authorization rate, the number of patents with unchanged agency, and the patent agency service retention rate are derived. Specifically, the patent authorization rate of each agency is computed as: Number of Granted Patents / Number of Closed Patent Cases. For the number of patents with unchanged agency, the EXACT function is used to compare whether the original patent agency and the current agency are identical; if they match, the agency remains unchanged. Then the count of patents with unchanged agency is compiled. The patent agency service retention rate of each agency is calculated as: Number of Patents with Unchanged Agency / Total Number of Patents. 4. Data Application: This dataset provides data references for enterprises, public institutions and individuals engaged in the production and R&D of injection molding machines when selecting patent agencies, based on the patent authorization rate and patent agency service retention rate of various agencies serving injection molding machine-related patents, to facilitate screening of higher-quality patent agencies.
