Gaia neutron stars-main sequences evolved to pulsar-white dwarfs dataset
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the MESA data products underlying the paper "Modelling the Future of Gaia Neutron Star-Main Sequence Binaries: From Eccentric Orbits to Millisecond Pulsar-White Dwarfs" (Chattopadhyay, Rocha, Gossage, Kalogera, El-Badry & Tchekhovskoy, submitted to & accepted by ApJ). Contents: The repository includes MESA inlists and run batch scripts for the four binary evolution model variants described in the paper — eccentric Eddington-limited (e-Ed), and artificially circularized Eddington-limited (cir-Ed) — applied to all 21 Gaia neutron star-main sequence (NS–MS) binaries. The .tar.gz packages are organized by model variant. Each package contains the MESA inlist files specifying the initial conditions (masses, orbital periods, eccentricities, metallicities) drawn from El-Badry et al. (2024b), along with the run scripts and the raw MESA output files (history and profile data) for the base circular and eccentric runs. The pulsar spin evolution outputs and remaining model variants will be made available upon reasonable request to the corresponding author (debatri.chattopadhyay@northwestern.edu). MESA version: r11701. Initial conditions for all 21 systems are listed in Table 1 of the manuscript.
