This dataset consists of "circles" (or "friends lists") from Facebook. Facebook data was collected from survey participants who used this Facebook application. The dataset includes node features, circles, and ego networks. The Facebook data has been anonymized by replacing each user's internal Facebook ID with a new value. Additionally, while feature vectors from this dataset are provided, the interpretation of these features is ambiguous. For example, if the original dataset might have contained the feature "political=Democratic Party", the new data will only contain "political=anonymized feature 1". Thus, using the anonymized data allows one to determine whether two users share the same political affiliation, but not what their respective political affiliations actually are, which further protects user privacy.
