资源简介:
This study contains 50 SARS-CoV-2 samples which are from 16 individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2. Each sample is from a different time point during infection, and each individual has samples from between two and four different timepoints. The 16 individuals were all infected with SARS-CoV-2 from the same outbreak in November 2020 in an unknown isolated location, where these individuals were living and working together. These nasopharyngeal swab samples were collected and sequenced via NimaGen-Illumina sequencing to investigate genomic variation and the dominant and minor levels in immunocompetent "healthy" humans. This allows insight into how SARS-CoV-2 can mutate and transmit throughout the majority of the population during a pandemic. By investigating the minor variation it also allows trends to be observed in the variability across the genome, suggesting that by monitoring variation at the minor level there can be increased granularity in prediction of future genomic mutation.
