High-throughput sequencing analysis of mRNA and lncRNA in wild-type mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages after deoxycholic acid treatment

At the epigenetic level, lncRNAs play an important role in cell differentiation and function. We investigated the global programme of gene expression in detail using high-throughput sequencing and identified different classes of up- or down-regulated genes in deoxycholic acid-treated wild-type mouse BMDMs. BMDMs were treatment with 100 µM DCA for 24h. One days later, all cells with or without DCA treatment were collected for RNA extraction. Total RNA was extracted using an RNeasy mini kit (QIAGEN, CA). RNA-seq libraries were prepared with the TruSeq sample preparation kit (Illumina, CA).
