Whole genome and RNA sequences of heart healthy cats

We robustly phenotyped a collection of domestic cats over 10 years old for using clinicopathology, biochemistry, and echocardiography to identify individuals free of heart diseases. From one cohort of 18 heart healthy cats, we generated WGS libraries. From a second cohort derived of 15 heart healthy cats euthanized for non-cardiac related causes, we generated RNASeq libraries derived from the left ventricle posterior wall, left atrium and interventricular septum.
