Quadratic APN Extensions

This dataset contains the look-up tables of the new quadratic APN functions in dimension eight (up to EA-equivalence) found by extending a quadratic APN function in dimension seven. The file apn_8bit.txt contains the look-up tables of the 6,368 new quadratic APN functions found by this approach.

Together with the 23 APN functions listed in [EP09], the 8,157 APN functions constructed by the QAM method [YWL14], the 10 APN functions presented in [WTG13], the two APN functions from the Taniguchi family [Tan19], the 12,921 APN functions from [BL22], and the 5,412 APN functions presented in [YP21], those are all 8-bit APN functions up to CCZ-equivalence known until January 2022 (32,893 in total).
