Light detection during mushroom development in Schizophyllum commune

Schizophyllum commune is a model for mushroom development. During this development, blue light is required to initiate fruiting body formation. This study uses a combination of ChIP-Seq and RNA-Seq to uncover the regulatory network underlying light detection in early mushroom development. This gives a better understanding of the genetic regulation of mushroom development and the environmental factors that play a role in it
