Correlation determined by multivariate regression analysis of analysis of variance (ANOVA) for 111 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Abbreviations are defined in Table 2 footnote. In the model, swollen joint count (SJC) is the dependent variable and sex, duration of symptoms, MCP-1, PTX3, CRP, and ESR are independent variables. Similarly, tender joint count (TJC), DAS 28, DAS28-MCP-1, and DAS28-CRP were analyzed individually as dependent variables in separate regression analyses.
