Data for: A Survey of Dog Owners’ Perceptions on the Use of Psychoactive Medications and Alternatives for the Treatment of Canine Behavior Problems

Data were analyzed using SPSS software. In addition to descriptive statistics, associations between comfort level with various products and owners’ personal histories of taking psychoactive medications were analyzed using non-parametric t-tests (Mann-Whitney U [U]) and correlation calculations (Spearman’s Rank Correlation [S]). All tests were 2-tailed, and significance level (α) was set at p=0.05.
