资源简介:
Brr1, as a key member of the SMN protein complex in budding yeast, is homologous to the protein Gemin2. Within the cell, the SMN complex is involved in the assembly of small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particles (snRNPs), an indispensable part of the mRNA splicing process in eukaryotic organisms. The knockout of the BRR1 gene leads to a slowed growth phenotype of budding yeast at low temperatures, indicating that Brr1 has a temperature-dependent impact on the growth of budding yeast. To gain a detailed understanding of the specific effects of the BRR1 gene knockout on gene expression, we conducted an RNA-Seq gene expression analysis.
