Eight parallel operated bioreactors were inoculated with identical wastewater treatment plant biomass and were exposed to the feast-famine enrichment protocol for 150 cycles at different temperatures (20-40 C). Eighteen samples for each bioreactor were sequenced to follow the microbial community development over time.
