Border Crossings of the World (V 1.1)

The Border Crossings of the World (BCW) dataset records information on international border crossings (1993-2020), defined as instances where a highway crosses an international border. This information includes features of the road itself (single-lane, multi-lane, etc.), as well as the presence or absence of filtering infrastructure used for search and inspection (e.g., official buildings, gates, inspections lanes). The data were collected based on visual inspections of publicly available satellite imagery.
