Ultimate and primary biodegradation of a range of non-polymeric and polymeric surfactants in seawater

The datasets are raw and calculated data from three experiments: <br> 1) Raw and calculated data from testing of 18 surfactants in a biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) with seawater as bacterial source. The test was performed according to OECD Guideline 306. Results are shown as dissolved oxygen concentrations, BOD and % biodegradation 2) LCMS data - concentrations of an ethoxylated surfactant depletion and its corresponding PEG degradation products in natural seawater during a degradation pereiod 3) LCMS data - concentrations of free and filter-trapped surfactant in natural seawater with or without the presence of added marine particles (phytoplankton, clay, mix of the two).
