Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey along the Tallington to Stamford Pipeline Route, 2025

Data in this collection is embargoed and will be made available after 30-Jun-2026. This collection comprises raw magnetometer data and magnetometer data plots from a geophysical survey along the Tallington to Stamford pipeline route. Work was carried out by MOLA Northampton in September 2025. A number of archaeological sites were detected, including a settlement site with evidence of possible industrial activity in the west of the route. Several other enclosure and trackways were detected along the rest of the route including three pit alignments. Two, possibly three, ring ditches, that form part of a known Bronze Age barrow cemetery were detected in the east of the route.
