Dataset for: Sequencing of 80 Taro Samples from Vietnam

The sequencing of 80 taro (Colocasia esculenta) samples from Vietnam (Mai Son district of Son La Province and Sapa district of Lao Cai Province) was carried out using samples collected in 2024. This study aims to analyze these accessions' genetic diversity and characterize their genomic profiles. The research aims to provide key insights into their genetic variability, facilitating conservation efforts, genetic improvement, and adaptation to diverse agroecological conditions. The generated data will contribute to developing strategies for the preservation and sustainable use of taro genetic resources in Vietnam and globally.
