National Conservatory of Historic Vehicles_ convention, 2023

The Conservatoire National de Véhicules Historiques (CNVH) is a non-profit-making association established on 15/05/1997 and registered on 13/01/2004. Its registered office is located at 20-22 rue de Stavelot in L-9280 Diekirch. The association is registered in the Trade and Companies Register under registration number F0000335 and at the Joint Social Security Centre under number 19976101130. The CNVH project, installed in the premises classified as a historical monument of the former “Jean Wagner Car Manufacturer” in Diekirch, was carried out thanks to the participation of three partners: the Meris-Wagner family, former owner of the car factory, the City of Diekirch and the State, represented by its Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Tourism. According to the statutes of the association, the CNVH’s missions consist of the management and animation of the museum, as well as, in partnership with the City of Diekirch and all those interested in the matter, to carry out research and exhibition around historic vehicles of all kinds, to organise scientific, educational and cultural events as well as initiatives developing and strengthening solidarity between members, exhibitors and associations pursuing the same objects. The association takes care to undertake measures to maintain and safeguard the technical heritage, to carry out information and initiation campaigns for all those who are concerned by this theme and who are interested in the work of the association. Thus, alongside the permanent exhibition of the CNVH collection, the association regularly organises temporary exhibitions as well as scientific, educational and cultural events.
