A Mexican man sits beside horse or donkey tack in front of wood and thatched saddlery of an old rancho, near La Paz, Baja California Sur, Gulf of California, Mexico, 1937 February 26 - April 8. A horse saddle and other tack sit on and around the wooden post fence. "Scenes near La Paz speak eloquently of the conflict between the old and the new. ....
