Influence of AHLs signaling molecules on the start-up and operation of a coupled anaerobic ammonia oxidation and sulfur autotrophic denitrification process

In this study, we investigated the effect and mechanism of action of AHLs on two types of denitrifying bacteria through the coupling of Anammox and SAD sludge in a UASB reactor using sulfur-iron composite filler as a carrier for efficient nitrogen removal.
