SSU rRNA sequences from microbial communities of switchgrass rhizosphere. GLBRC Switchgrass Rhizosphere

In this study we examined microbial communities in the rhizosphere of switchgrass. Samples were taken at two different experimental schemes in both Michigan ans Wisconsin, USA. The experimental schemes were called intensive - side-by-side plots where plant communities were in their second year since establishment, and extensive - regionally distributed fields where plant communities had been in place for at least 10 years. The current data are SSU rRNA sequences (both 16S and 18S rRNA gene sequences)generated with primers 926F and 1392R and the pyrosequencing technology (Titanium).
