Crossing: Digital resources for library cooperation

Viaje is a repository of digital resources to support the library. Crossing collects three types of publications: legislation (European, national and regional), in addition to guidelines, standards, technical recommendations and congress proceedings, all issued by significant organisations of the library sector and finally publications of the Subdirectorate-General for Library Coordination. Documents are included in full text in free and open access whenever permitted by the copyright of these, otherwise Travesía collects only metadata and a link to the document on the publisher’s website. The Travesía interface is multilingual in Spanish official languages in addition to English. Crossing was created in 2009 by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport to try to respond to the new cooperation structures derived from Law 10/2007, of June 22, on reading, book and libraries.
