收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the study "Exchange Rate Volatility and Financial Closure of Public-Private Partnership Energy Projects: The Moderating Role of Local Currency Financing." It contains 2,734 deal-level records of energy sector PPP projects across 75 low- and middle-income countries covering the period 2000 to 2023. The workbook contains two sheets. The Deal_Level_Data sheet holds the full analytical file, including the binary dependent variable CLOSE_5yr (financial close achieved within five years of tender or award) with a CLOSE_3yr robustness variant; GARCH(1,1) conditional exchange rate volatility measured over a 24-month pre-deal window, with 12-month, 36-month, and realised volatility variants; an IMF AREAER-based pegged exchange rate regime indicator; a local currency financing tranche indicator and local currency share of total debt; development finance institution participation; and macroeconomic and institutional controls drawn from the World Bank World Development Indicators and Worldwide Governance Indicators. The Supplementary sheet documents data sources, the full variable codebook, and summary statistics.
