Water potential data of native Northeastern conifers under poly-stress conditions
收藏资源简介:
This dataset includes partial water potential (WP) data from an ongoing, year-long study on four native conifer species in the northeastern United States: Pinus strobus, Tsuga canadensis, Thuja occidentalis, and Juniperus virginiana. The current dataset includes WP measurements at turgor loss point from both adult trees and seedlings, collected across seasons from summer through winter. This study investigates how these species respond to poly-stress conditions, particularly the combined effects of drought and cold. The data provide insight into seasonal and age-related variation in plant water relations. A complete version of the dataset will be publihed at the conclusion of the study and will include additional seasonal data and associated physiological traits.
