资源简介:
Gwangyang Bay (GW) is a semi-enclosed estuary, which forms a transition zone between river and coastal environments, at the southern tip of the Korea Peninsula in North-East Asia. GW provides a diverse range of unique habitats that maintain biodiversity in the estuarine ecosystem. A long-term monitoring program for biodiversity in GW has been carried out to understand 1) the linkage between estuarine and coastal ecosystems, 2) biogeochemical and ecological feedbacks in response to climate change, and 3) nutrient fluxes mediated by a food web.
