Census 2011: Level of education of the resident population aged 6 and over by gender and age group

The dataset contains the number of resident population aged 6 and over by age group, gender and educational level. The data were collected through the 15th General Census of Population and Housing, carried out by ISTAT in 2011, with the aim of counting the totality of the population, homes and buildings on the territory. In this census, for the first time, some socio-economic information was collected on a sample basis. The degree of instruction is one of the information collected on a sample basis. N.B.: the term “Analfabeta” means those who have declared that they do not know how to read or write while the term “Alphabets without qualifications” means those who have declared that they know how to read and write, even if they have not obtained a primary school license.
