Easily and quickly connect the latest knowledge in your Microsoft 365 SharePoint documents to your own AI Assistants to “talk to your files” while adhering to SharePoint’s end-user access controls.

Built on the Snowflake Native App Framework, the connector leverages Snowflake’s built-in security, scalability and reliability capabilities to automatically ingest files from Microsoft 365 SharePoint.The connector makes ingested files ready for conversational analysis in your own AI Assistants by combining the Cortex AI PARSE_DOCUMENT function that extracts text and document layout with powerful Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capabilities and machine learning models, and the Cortex Search service, Snowflake’s hybrid (vector and keyword) search engine, with no need to manually integrate against API endpoints or manage third-party solutions.

The connector supports the initial load as well as incremental updates to file content and permissions. You can choose the folders to ingest files from and the frequency to refresh folders. Click the “Get” button on the right to start.
