Mice homozygous for p. Gly23Val substitution in Phospholipase A2 Activating Protein (PLAA: PlaaG23V/G23V) display muscle weakness, cerebellar atazia and tremor. To investigate the molecular mechanism for these phenotypes we dissected the caudal region of the brain including the cerebellum and hind brain from three wild type (Plaa+/+) and three mutant (PlaaG23V/G23V) mice, extracted RNA and performed gene-level microarray analysis We analysed RNA extracted from the caudal brain of three wild type (Plaa+/+) and three mutant (PlaaG23V/G23V) mice

携带p.Gly23Val错义替换的磷脂酶A2激活蛋白(Phospholipase A2 Activating Protein,PLAA)纯合小鼠(PlaaG23V/G23V)表现出肌无力、小脑共济失调与震颤表型。为探究此类表型的分子机制,本研究从3只野生型(Plaa+/+)与3只突变型(PlaaG23V/G23V)小鼠体内分离包含小脑与后脑的脑尾区组织,提取RNA并开展基因水平的芯片分析。本研究对上述3只野生型与3只突变型小鼠脑尾区提取的RNA进行了分析。
