For additional raw EPA National Rivers and Streams Assessment Data, see https://riverstreamassessment.epa.gov/webreport/ and https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataset.xhtml?persistentId=doi:10.7910/DVN/S2ZWIE “This dashboard displays results from the National Rivers & Streams Assessment. In order from left to right, the graphs show the percentage of river and stream miles in poor condition in 2018-19, the direction of change, and the change between the 2013-14 to 2018-19 surveys. All confidence intervals are calculated at a 95% confidence level. Condition for nitrogen, phosphorus, and all biological and physical indicators is determined by comparing indicator values to NRSA-specific regional benchmarks. For acidification, salinity, and enterococci, condition is based on national benchmarks. For microcystins and cylindrospermopsin detection indicators, condition depends on whether these chemicals were detected. For all other human health indicators, condition is based on EPA recommended water quality criteria.” [Quote from: https://riverstreamassessment.epa.gov/dashboard/?&view=indicator&studypop=rs&subpop=national&label=none&condition=poor&diff=2v3] U.S. EPA National Rivers & Streams Assessment 2018-19 Percentage of River & Stream Miles in Poor Condition (2013-14 to 2018-19) 2018-19 Estimate and Change Over Time | National
