This data is a part of our study which demonstrates ERK/GSK-3β pathway-mediated translational regulation of NANOG symmetric division in CRC-SCs. To identify NANOG target genes, we conducted a comprehensive screening based on multiple transcriptional regulatory databases, including DoRothEA, GTRD, HTRIdb, JASPAR, ORegAnno, REDfly, ReMap, TRED, TRUST, and Yeastract using the TFLink tool. In addition, we utilized a python script integrating TRUST and various other resources to accurately determine NANOG-targeted genes. This data was used to select genes to analyse gene expression by RT-PCR for a set of 45 NANOG target genes in NANOG-GFP overexpressing and GFP control cell lines in colorectal cancer stem-like cells (CRC-SCs) in the study by our group (Saleki et al. 2024) (Supplementary material). We also studied effects of TDZD-8 and U0126 anticancer drugs on the expression of high-scoring NANOG target genes.
