Transversale Identität und Identitätsarbeit

Der Beitrag stellt die Integrative Identitätsheorie vor, wie sie seit Ende der 60ger Jahre von H.G. Petzold im Rahmen der Integrativen Therapie entwickelt wurde. Identität ist Element der Integrativen Persönlichkeitstheorie, die Selbst, Ich, Identität differenziert. Sie wird durch Selbst- und Fremdzuschreibungen und deren kogitiver (appraisal) und emotionaler (valuation) Bewertung in sozialen Netzwerken und sozialen Welten als Synergie kollektiver und subjektiver mentaler Repräsentationen konstituiert in fortlaufenden Prozessen des Aushandelns von Identität über die Lebensspanne. Diese werden als Entwicklungsprozesse gesehen und an die Konzepte und Forschungen der „Entwicklungspsychologie der Lebensspanne“ rückgebunden. In differenzierten Identitätsprozessen des „Aushandelns“ emanzipiert sich Identität, und ist, indem sie sich wieder und wieder selbst überschreitet, als eine „transversale Identität“ zu sehen. This text presents „Integrative Identity Theory“ as it has been developed since the end of the 60th by H.G. Petzold in the context of Integrative Therapy. Identity is an element within the Integrative Personality Theory in which Self, Ego, and Identity are differentiated. It is formed in a synergetic process of collective mental representations, of social attributions comming from social networks and social worlds and subjektiv mental representations, self attributions – both are submitted to cognitive appraisal and emotional valuation. Identity requires identity negotiations accross the life span and is therefore relying on concepts and research of „life span developmental psychology“.
